Arrrrghhhh, we be pirates
Well not until Wednesday when we're going to sail on this tall ship that was used in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. That's going to be in St. Lucia.
Today we were in St. Maarten. Very cool place. We crewed on an actual Americas Cup yacht, the True North IV, raced against Stars & Stripes in a regatta. Tomorrow we'll be in Antigua and we're going to fly over an active volcano on Monserrat. In a helicopter. If you've seen the movie Forces of Nature at the IMAX, it's the volcano featured in the feature. Only bad thing is I can't get my camera to work. So no pictures.  Has been 82ish. Was around 37 the day we flew out of Houston. The Lesser Antilles are (is?) a lot cooler than I thought they'd be. So much I'm thinking of booking our next cruise back in the Southern Caribbean. Btw yesterday was a certain person's birthday that I'm not allowed to mention. So don't wish him Happy Birthday. |
