I'm sure if it becomes a widespread issue, we'll work something out. Giving it out on whims would encourage folks to bet everything on anything and just shrug if they lose

Maybe set up a donation for operating costs for the boards and in return more vcash to bet with? (jsut a thought)

Every <insert time period here> everyone is given X vCash. At the end of that time the person with the most vCash is idolized for a day. Beginning the next day everyone's vCash is reset to 500 and it starts all over.

Yeah, I don't foresee any across the board wipes. That would defeat the whole idea.

I'm open to suggestions for re-funding accounts. I think we should avoid anything to do with real money though.

Agree. I for one would not pay for vCash and I really don't forsee anyone else paying either. I can only imagine there would be some legal considerations with real money as well.

Well... what Blearch was talking about was setting it up as a "reward" for donating, just like a lot of those comic sites give you a special "donator only" wallpaper when you donate. But I agree, keep real money out of it.

I'd say I like the "add to everyone" idea better. Instead of wiping everyone and setting everyone back to base, maybe once per month (or once per week during football season ; p ) give everyone 100 vCash accross the board.

Or (don't know if this is possible the way it is currently set up) cap the "refresh" VCash at 500. So... if you have 0, you get 100. If you have 450, you get 50... If you already have over 500, you stay at what you're at. This solves 2 problems. It helps out the people who have lost it all and want a chance to catch up with the leaders some day, and it prevents people who don't play / are away for a long time from accruing huge stockpiles of vCash.
