Default DOOM 3 Help

Hey everytime I get into my Doom 3 game I get this error that pops up.. Does anyone maybe know a reason why or a possible way of fixing it..?

Non-technical input incoming.

Try changing out/around the RAM you are using.

It has fixed several problems i have had like that.

always seems to be a memory problem.. would it maybe work if I just switch witch slot each stick goes into?

Perhaps but try taking one of your sticks of RAM out and using only one to isolate problem. Theirs prolly easier solution but thats how i do it.

Moglor, is this problem new, or have you been able to play the game before on that machine? It might be a software problem instead of hardware. That message makes me think something is trying to reference a memory location that's not there.

I have played it before on this computer but it was probably the last time I played was a month after it came out so its been awhile. but I do have some problem with Everquest Crashing and people telling me its memory for that to so maybe I do just have crappy memory.. DAMN YOU CRUCIAL

Download it and let it run while you sleep. It won't necessarily find all existing problems on your memory, but it rarely gives a false positive.

I took out my newer graphics card nad tossed in a old Geforce 5200 128mb card and it started to work fine..

Check your voltage levels with the new card in, if a weaker card isn't crashing it. Especially the +12v rail.
