Default Drop down menu

For some reason when I click on the drop down menu on my browser (or any drop down menu) aren't working properly. Seems like when I click on them the drop down for a flash-instant and then back up.

What could be the problem?

My mouse seems to be working properly in all other aspects.

If your keyboard is USB, un-plug your keyboard and try it. Also, is your keyboard or mouse wireless?

I have two wireless key boards and two wireless mice on the same desk... think that is it? Maybe I need to readdress them?

There's a method with keyboards that I think works quite well. You'll need:

2 slices of bread.
1 jar of peanut butter.
1 knife.
1 hammer.
1 toaster.

Step 1: Put the slices of bread in the toaster.
Step 2: Wait until the bread toasts a light golden colour.
Step 3: Remove.
Step 4: Use the knife to spread peanut butter over the slices of toast until thick and creamy.
Step 5: Eat.
Step 6: Take the hammer and smash the fuck out of your keyboard.

Hope that helps.

The re-sync thing didn't work so I'm going with the hammer/sammich approach and getting a new keyboard and mouse.

Thanks for the help guys.

Is it happening in anything other than a browser?

Yes I tired IE and it is doing it in that one also. I thought the mouses left click button is fubar but I can click other stuff okay. It is just the drop down menus. Is there anything unusual concerning dropdown menus? The right click works well.

Try changing it to a Left-handed mouse, and see if the problem replicates....if it does, something is screwy in your Registry.
If not, get a new mouse.
