I don't know if anyone else has tried DDO in a while. I tried back when it first came out, and promptly quit. They've made some great changes, you might want to give it a look. It does feel a lot like a pen and paper game, with the right people. Dungeons actually have a planned feel to them, where other MMOs only seem to do that in the starting areas. Tons of quests too.

They've been getting a lot of attention lately with their recent developments in the game and have even won some awards. Very interesting stuff! If only I had more time to play LOL.
