[EQ2] EQ2 Digital Download?

So I found a friend who stopped playing EQ2 but still has like 3 months left on their account. Is it possible to download the patcher program and digitally download all of the software, like you could with EQ1, or do I need to get my hands on a copy of the CD?

If it is possible, anyone wanna send me the patcher program?

hmmm during beta you could do this for sure, I can try sending you sending you something but it's about 5MB.....let me see if I can host it somewhere and you can download.
