For the first time in 4 months I am seriously considering a return to EQ1. This patch just makes the game seem less fun to me For the masses that whined and whined about tskills, horses, and the econonmy I hope they are happy.

Post 2/17 economy = Communist China

I'm taking a break for a few days to see if I can bring myself to log in, if I want to be punished I will just come back to EQ1.

EQ 1 isn't bad, no idea what all the EQ 1 hate is about. But, keep your tired asses in EQ2 or WOW or whatever the hell the too cool for school people are playing these days.

I've occasionaly considered returning to EQ1, but grinding to 70, apping a raiding guild, being online enough to raid often enough to join said guild...getting more AAs...gah, what a chore. I miss being involved to an extent, but I read my guildies' thoughts on these last couple patches (in EQ2), and I'm not regretting my decision to take a break.

Aye, I'm not impressed at all by the huge changes.

Jesus, make all my gear Attuned? No resell worth a damn so if I'm not tradeskilling ( which I hate btw) I can't afford to replace my gear as I level up.

You can still sell to NPCs, dont worry.

This patch is very very good I think except:
- pally horses (should be 16% not 10%)
- fuel prices went too high.

I don't see what the hubbub is over the attunable change. So I can't gouge people when I resell my gear. Big deal! Guess what? The larger part of the money I've made in-game came from sources other than reselling gear that I've outgrown. In fact, some of the prices from the NPC merchants are almost the same as what I would have wound up selling them for on the broker anyway.

The attuneable thing is bullshit.

I like to pass my gear on to friends or family who being playing the game. Or heave forbid you have an alt you want to try to gear up. The attuneable thing was for the whiny crafters as was the pally nerf b/c of whiners. It is sickening IMO.
