I am scared of the rate of level and guild levle increases, I am not to savy about playing a game where I now have to hit level 80 when My main isnt even past level 56 yet.

Release cap was 50, DoF raised to 60, KoS raised to 70. Since then we've had EoF and now the free Neriak expansion is coming, with the level static at 70. Most players are at or near 70, so by November it'll be time for a cap increase. My main regret is that there will be a lot of raid content we've not beaten that will be gimped by the cap increase, but so it was in EQ1 (with my guild, anyway).
What scares me? Epic quests! |

True but they are increasing the gap for new players to start the game.
Would you be gungho to start a game that you knew the end game started at level 80. What about when they get to level 85 or 90, there will be less people who are leveling alts the non PL way which means it will make it harder for new players to find groups to exp with. The more levels you tack on, the more of a daunting task it becomes to reach it for everyone alt or new. I'd rather see just a shit load more content for level 70's then more levels. I guess increasing the Gap to 80 is easier then making a shit load of content to replace it.

Wouldn't scare me, I'd RiP right into it!
However I'm not keen on returning to EQ2 when I'm still having fun with the original ![]() Fandros Finglaflin |

As bad as SWG was for content (or the lack thereof), the skill system allowed veterans to group with rookies. This is something that could be worked on, refined and implemented. |

Having more content is never a horrible thing. I'm so close to getting EQ2 again.

This sounds like it's going to be great. I do wish though they would be a little more creative and maybe do new areas instead of redoing eq1 areas. But either way I can't wait. Oh, and mark me down for the NO level cap increase group.

The redoing of EQ areas has been pretty good, at least places like Unrest and Mistmoore. THat old cloth map had a lot of places that weren't covered in the original release, though, like Loping Plains and THundering Steppes. Hopefully they creatively approach areas like that in Kunark, without having empty areas like Skyfire and EJ.
