What are you saying DiscW, this episode owned imo. But then again I haven't read the manga so I wouldn't know if they are making mistakes (although I usually get to hear about the ones that are really bad, like the last filler arc...).

As for gaara, he didn't talk about running out of chakra in the manga(unless the inane translation is wrong). What can I say, this series one of my geeky pleasures, heh.

This episode wasn't too great, thanks to the massive amount of flashblacks(even for this series). And flashbacks of flashbacks. But everything from now on should be good. A few episodes of 100% flashback that actually gives some interesting storyline development, then the throwdown.
