Default Ho Ho Ho

Just wanted to throw a Happy Christmas out there guys.

Anyone got any fun plans?

I personally wish I could sit around in my pants (that's 'underwear' for you Yanks) all day and eat chocolate, but I'm being dragged to the in-laws.

Happy New Year too

Same old same old. Eat, drink, and be merry. Not going out of town but will have a party to attend on the 23,24, and 25.

Well, managed to finagle the military to fly me home for the holidays on their coin...hehe...suckers! Just kidding! I do appreciate it!

Even better, I get a month home with my wife and boy. It's definately some much need quality time after 7 months away, especially when there's another 7 months to come.

Actully this Christmas has been a crazy-fun month so far. They are putting in my Pool We also bought those two TV's (a plasma and an LCD) which we had to have installed due to the size. Since they are high Def we have the satelittle people putting in HD recievers.

The guys that installed the TV's are re-wiring the house for sound (and surround sound in the living room) (to include outside by the pool) and with it comes all new stuff (DVD,CD,Tuner etc...)

So there is a lot of activity at the house this month, but I enjoy all the projects and sub-projects (like having a carpenter come in to cut out and redo my entertainment center so my TV will fit in the living room.

I don't know if you guys remember, but one of my hobbies is triathlon. My training this month has been virtually nothing. I have done one Half Marathon on Dec 1 but nothing after that to speak of. I'm gearing back up for 2008 so this should improve.

Christmas time is fun, and the kids love the lights and having a tree in our house!... almost as much as the big ass hole in my yard and the two hills I made in the back with the dirt for the 4 wheelers/mtn bikes!

I get my son this year, and we plan on going to my mom's house to celebrate.
2 weeks with a 12 yr old boy, and a 57 year old woman, I'll prolly go insane...LOL

We are spending our first Christmas at home without travelling (wife and I have been married for 5 years, been together for almost 10). Our daughter just turned 3, so we get to do the whole Santa thing, and she's more aware of it now. My parents are coming to stay with us, but it's going to be nice to wake up on Christmas, at home, and not having to travel anywhere.

Going to the in laws to celebrate Christmas over the new year with them.

Merry Christmas, Halo, and everyone.

No big plans here; making a standing rib roast today, which will provide some leftovers to munch on the next few days while doing all the housecleaning and necessary preparations.

The new addition (niece's son) turns 1 year old on the 23rd, so naturally all the requisite spoiling with presents will be taking place. I got the early dibs on the Tickle Me Elmo doll, since he is a huge Elmo fan already.

I hope everyone has some fond memories made this season, and for those who prefer to forget, I recommend the 2006 vintage of Covey Run Reisling, which is an exceptionally smooth and flavorful wine. Just grabbed a case this morning after sampling.
