I have seen the phrase MQ, and learned that it means Multi-Quest, and is a way that people can work together to contribute NO DROP items to complete a quest.
How does this work? I'm use to the normal method of hail, give the component to the NPC via the trade window and then your done. How does it work for a MQ exchange? Thanks! -=Shantune Medeedlah |

They put in there's, you put in yours. It's like gay butt sex, but not quite as messy.

If the turn in requires multiple items, whomever turns in the last one gets the reward.

What I find disturbing is that you know how messy butt sex is Shewdogg.

Think of it like a slot machine. Someone puts in their parts and then other put in their parts, but the lucky soul that puts in the final piece wins the jackpot.

3 rules to MQing a quest with someone:
1. Make damn sure you have the required faction to do the hand in.... 2. Make it very clear that the person who is to receive item from the quest DOES NOT HAND IN FIRST! 3. Make you sure you tell the person when to hand in the item....ie after you do the first part... 3 simple rules that will make MQing soooo much easier for you. Let me give you an example of a bad moment in MQing for one lonely wizard and his epic...(names have been changed to protect the innocent...not)... I had the wizard staff from Phiny to MQ. Found a buyer whom I shall call....Shamax... We went to the hand in person to complete that part of the Wizard epic to get final bag for hand in. In his excitement he failed to notice my says that I would tell him when to do hand in. Understandable since he had been waiting long long long time for this epic and wizard one is a pita no doubt. So I hand in my part and lo and behold on my cursor I have now the final bag for wizard epic hand in. Hmmm as a shaman I have no need for that epic (wish it worked from inventory) so I was a bit dismayed. Shamax who changed his name to ShamanOMFGWHATDIDIDO! of course suffered a near nervous breakdown. A GM was nice enough to give back his pieces and congratulated me on having a wizard epic even though a shaman... Moral of story: Always, always, always remember to have patience when MQing! Also, a good idea is to hand a few junk items to a vendor first before handing in the MQ items in case somebody did a trade of half the MQable items earlier or something and forgot about a piece. Dunno if this still works, haven't checked in awhile.
