Default LOST-DON'T READ if you are going to watch it

All right who watched it and what did you think?

Was the woman who Jack operated on his fiance, and we just saw how they met? I didn't know if she looked familiar, but I remember how he met his fiance, and that he had to operate on her. If that is her how long ago did it happen? Anyone remember? Because that guy in the capsule couldn't have been down there for the 16 years that Rousell was on the island.

Anyone notice the numbers on the medicine in the bunker were the numbers? And, the time of death on the guy that died while Jack was saving Sarah was 8:15 (flight number).

The thing I didn't quite understand was the magnetism near the corroded buckets. Was that some kind of generator on the other side of the wall, creating the magnetic field?

A buddy hooked me up with this link. This is a huge compilation which really makes you think that the writers on this show REALLY did some research/thinking and set this up well. I hope they had the foresite to do this with the second season which I think they are. All the little tie ins and such.

I thought it looked like a block/brick of ore. There were a bunch of buckets which looked like they were filled with dirt leading me to think that he (assumption) was diggin trying to find the sourse of the magnatism. The magnetic field appeared to expand out into the corridor, and not just past the boarded area in that corridor.

Of course I've learned with this show they don't tell you much you just assume until they give you a couple more tips/hints. Kinda drives me crazy. I'll be right there with Hurley next time he is in the assylum. Is it Wednesday yet?

I haven't looked at it since the end of season one, but this board has a lot of good thoughts on it too: http://4815162342.com/

All of the details are definitely planned out though. J.J. Abrams said in some interview that they started with a plan of how things would happen for four seasons. Alias is the same way, even though it seems really random at times (also a J.J. Abrams show).

I thought it odd that "Quarantine" was writ on the inside of the hatch. Looking forward to more background on this Desmond fellow.

Walt's phrase was evidently pronounced backwards. Run forwards, he says, "Push the button. No button is bad."

The patient that died was Aaron Rutherford. Rutherford is Shannon's surname.

The magnet...protection from the "black cloud?"

Jack's fiance is the second parapalegic to be "miraculously" healed in the series (Locke being first). Desmond is proximate to both cases.

The numbers show up some more. Lots of crazy theories out there, and more "coincidences" through the series than you can shake a stick at. Good stuff.

That brings up another thing. Why was the Walt/image of Walt all wet and spitting water when he was talking? How would Shannon have this image? Just too many questions, and I'm going to have to watch every week to find answers and uncover more questions. Darn writers.
