Maxim - Letter to the Editor

I was looking through some old Maxims the other day when i came acros this letter to the editor

This response really epitomizes why I read the magazine :rollin

It's all too easy to be cynics nowadays, isn' it? Just sit back and criticize anyone with a cause or an idiosyncrasy - your petty formula. But u perpetuate all problems except for lack of cool by making men think that not caring is the height of cool irony. You went over board by criticizing Bono for fighting fir forgiveness of third world debt, because "it's easy to give money away that isn't yours, u twit" ["The Most Dangerous Men on Earth"]. It's even easier to ignore social issues for stale jokes, you twits. Do you know anything about what debt does to those countries? Read up. It affects your little lives too, too. Rebirth your heart or stop it altogether.

You’ve got a point, Anthony. We have been a bit callous and lazy lately, and at times when we can’t think of anything intelligent to say, we often resort to sarcasm and irony. Thanks for pointing that out. And for that we’d like to take you out for a nice lunch. Oh, that’s right. You’re in prison.

HAHA, hell yea! The guy who created Maxim graduated from my high school. My english teacher has a calendar he made his senior year, called "The Girls of Xavier" (the all female college-prep right next door.) The funny thing is, our current Dean's wife is Ms. December.

Could be Brophy or Central High , I went to Central High 8) , and there were some nice looking females that went to Xavior when I was in High School so many years ago

Totally off target, but doesn't Mokas' pic in her sig look like she's been on a 4 day opium bender with Mariah Carrey? Dunno 'bout you, but that thought makes me like it more.
