Bylimet Spiritwalker

I was talking with some family members the other day about old books we would like to read again, and "The Erection Set" by Mickey Spillane came up. I read that book back in the early '70s and loved it, but could never find it again. Spillane writes about tough guys (and sometimes gals) and their women, usually finding some crime drama or mystery to wrap the characters around.

This particular book had a neat little subplot going on that was actually more interesting and a better climax to the story than the actual plot-line. I don't want to spoil it in case anyone likes quick read trash novels, so I won't divulge here. But I will say that for a fast read and a fun bit of escapism, it is worth picking up if you see it.

I finally found a copy (used) on Amazon for 37 cents plus shipping, and am going to enjoy the weekend a bit more now.
