As many of you have seen you can now leave reputation points based on post. Now at first it sounded like a cool idea, people can leave you comments and feedback on how they feel about your post. The only problem now is so many people leaving feedback with no name or even comment. Why bother? I really think it is retarded that people leave comments and do not leave their name. That is such a punk move. Grow balls please? Even people who leave good feedback/comments should put their name so you know who at least likes what you post. Sorry if it sounds stupid, just hate having like -20 rep points with stupid little comments (AND SOME GOOD ONES!!!) and not knowing who said what (or for those who did not comment, what they had to say).

I'd like to force a comment to submit them, when I get around to doing it. That might help some.

Speaking as someone who can see the names of everyone that leaves me rep, let me tell you that it still doesn't help much. You're right, it really is annoying to have a red dot in the list and no reason at all why.

Not just a comment, but it show their username too. I always thought mods did not like anonymous trolls, but this supports the use of being an anon baby.

I'll be working on the hack. We will have it return an error message if you leave nothing in the comments field. In addition, if you feel that a reputation point given to you is unfair, you may file an appeal to one of our administrators, who will check the database to find out more about it.

That's got nothing to do with anonymous trolls. Maybe they just don't feel comfortable putting their name on their opinions. Just like some people prefer to lurk, rather than post a lot.

I ran through the database and glanced at the reps overall. I don't see any real pattern of abuse. There's positive and negative ones. Ones with comments and not.

As far as appeals... For the love of god, send those to Ryb. No way I'm getting in the middle of that stuff.
