Nasty Bug and Slow CS

Anyone else here get screwed by the downloads for Lost Dungeons of Norath?

Friday night I was gathering with my guildies for a little raid in BoT when someone trains a bunch of nasties into the safe room where we were gathering. Being the nice guy that I am, I stick around long enough to hold their attention while the folks in the room make a dash for the zone out. Naturally I get splatted in short order and respawn in PoK as usual. I sit down to mem my spells again and get the "you are too low to memorize this spell" message. Uh oh...since I was about half way into level 62 I knew I was screwed. Sure enough, I am now level 50. Immediate petition. Someone gives me a 96 rez and now I am level 51.Unfortunately I can't equip much of my gear now due to level restrictions so my night is pretty much over.

My petition is answered relatively quickly by a guide who lets me know the bug was a result of the LDoN downloads and that someone else had the same problem earlier. He advised me to log off, go read a book or whatever because my character will have to be rolled back to before the downloads. Fine. I am only going to lose about a yellow bubble of exp and possibly one item I had recently purchased. I can live with that.

Saturday I am still 51st. Sunday I am still 51st. Monday I am still 51st. Monday night I petition again and learn that "there are many people ahead of me who need to be reset". I am advised that it may be several more days before they get to me.

Today I am still 51st. I am beginning to wonder how much longer it is going to take. Has anyone else had an experience like this where it takes several days to get straightened out? Am I being unrealistic in thinking four days should have been sufficient time to address it?

Be patient bro, lost of people got screwed up by this, and I imagine they have an unimaginable long backlog of people needing restored.

They even had GM-Coder Desilous helping the first night. The Customer Service on ayonae ro is 999% better than it was 6 months ago.

This is exactly the reason to trod the FoH boards...I learned about this first day people were experiencing it, so I told everyone in /gu ..

I am not ordering LDoN till it has been out for a good 2, 3 months..I don't like to pay for beta..

I've heard that if you cancel your pre-order it might help...

Ill tell you a bug that is sort of annoying.
Engage Saryn, zone crashes.

If not fixed yet keep petitioning they will have to roll back your character from like Tuesday so make a note of anything you've gotten since them. Both my 64 character got hit and lost my VT, luckily Brioma kicks ass

Thanks for the tip...I wish I could remember all the changes from that day to now. I know I bought a couple items and sold one but hopefully I won't get crunched too bad. I am more worried about losing my Ring of the Shissar after having camped the stuff for it with guildies.
