Too see how old-school some of us are...

Typically starts with something like "Anyone remember...?" or "Who remembers...?"

So I'll get it started off with an easy one I'm sure alot of you will remember...

Who remembers back when you used to /consent people, you were giving them permission to drag and LOOT your corpse?

I remember. I also remember being scared to death that someone was going to steal my noob gear anytime I consented them. I guess, when I think back, what I remember most from the early days were all those Blackburrow trains. That place was just insane.

I remember weighing about 20lbs less before I installed EQ.

I remember thinking that you were Godlike if you hit level 20. And new spell effects at 24th level! oooooo!

Kraken in LR and dinosaur in OOT, jboots in najena, camping mana stone, dual yak wielding rangers MT, broken rogues (erm thats now as well).. What did i forget?

People fighting over the maid and butler camps in Mistmoore.

Running down [or up] the ramp in East Karana and wondering if it ever ended.

Rangers got the spell Spirit of Wolf at level 39.

Soulfire was the only weapon in the game with a particle effect.

You had to kill the Froglok Shin Lord to get Ghoulbane.

Firy Avenger was just some sword that the producer's ranger twink ran around with.

Nerf Necros!

Just about anything about Abashi and nerfs.

Most of the kill stealing that went on was over some gnoll in Highpass.

There were no level restrictions to enter the planes.
