Many of you who know me know that I am a girl that very much enjoys the fruits of good roleplay. I have been a roleplayer since day one of EQ and wish to continue doing it. I have been away from EQ for quite some time now and do wish to go get back into the fun of it all. Though as we all know, being a roleplayer is hard when you are not playing on the roleplay server. I have been ridiculed on a number of occasions for choosing to roleplay.

Here is what I would like to do and I would like your comments and/or suggestions on if something this would be a good idea, bad idea, no one will care, or just more reasons for someone to make fun of me because I enjoy roleplaying.

I wish to create a roleplay journal. What I mean by this is on a website post weekly stories that involve my character and her events that happened in game and turn it into a roleplay journal that I post on the net for people to read. Kind of like on-going novel. Again, I am roleplayer and I very much enjoy sharing it with others when others enjoy it as well. But, I don't want to create something that people think is dumb and corny and will only receive more ridicule for doing it.

So my question is this...

If I do this are there people interested in this? Will people care? Is it really worth my time? Will people read it? Will I get flamed for being an emotional roleplayer?

All these thoughts have come to mind when thinking about doing this. I just want to give myself more reason to play then to just kill stuff for xp/loot. Those who know me know that I am a casual player and care little for being uberisious. I just want to have fun and enjoy my friends and the socialization of others around me.

You see, that is what I am talking about. Seems most people think that the roleplay that I like to do is as he put it, "Crap". So even if I post it in the roleplay forums, you think people here don't wanna see it?

I think it would be great to read some good writing in terms of roleplaying. The last story I recall there was posted by Ullrich, I think, and I enjoyed it very much. If you have the desire, go for it! I will read it.

Maybe I will submit some stories, too.

Sadly even the Roleplaying Server isn't Roleplay anymore. Now it's just a spot for Stormhammer peeps to make tons of plat selling elemental gear (when you see a lvl 9 Paladin in full elemental gear, yeah it'd piss you off).

If you can do it and get your group going, I applaud you. You have quite a daunting task ahead of you.
