Saw this movie with my little sister last night for her birthday... Gotta say, it was a GREAT movie, and had me rolling over laughing. There were a lot of funny parts that had to do with fantasy stuff like Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars and a lot of geek hilarity!
The rest of the film which was itself not at all about anything geek related was pretty good.
It was also filmed at my old high school, so if you want to see the Basketball courts good ole Jedd played Ball on back in his high school days check it out!
I rate this movie about an 8 honestly, and it really shook up my pre conception with a great story with good humor.

This is like the fourth or fifth time this story has been done, and this time with a cast that does nothing for me at all.
I'll pass.

Is it a Dazed and Confused type movie?

I'll watch it just to see where Jedd played ball :)

Just make sure to pay close attention to the sidelines and bench area as that most likely where Jedd spent his palying time.

LOL!
I didn't play for the pretty boy team... I played at lunch and during PE with the real ballers :)

I never saw dazed and confused.
A movie about growing up and graduating high school in the late '70s. I would say...back in my day!

This story is more about a man who gave up a future in sports and college to marry his girlfriend for reasons I won't reveal, and how he regrets it in the future and wishes he could go back, and basically is turned back into a kid.
He ends up finding out that he could use this second chance for a different reason then he actually wanted it for.
It has been done before, and it might sound stupid, but it had great writers, and it was hilarious!

As much as this sounds a worn out story line, you cannot deny the Rotten Tomato 78% reviews. That's gotta be some good watchin' there.
