Did anyone else find 300 unbearably boring? Once you get over the use of film and storytelling style, the movie amounts to little more than over hyped testosterone filled blah. Can't say I get very excited at the possibility of a follow up.

Actually no, I rather enjoy it but it may have something to do with the half naked guys with rock hard abs. Even with out that though, I still liked it, I thought it was a good story myself.

I thought it was alright. Definetly not boring though. I think I was expecting too much out of it going into the theater which discounted it from great to mediocre IMHO.

To give you some credit, the movie just came on HBO this month and I haven't even considered watching it  :)

I think a lot of their bodies were rendered with CGI or something. So you basically got all hot and bothered over computer generated characters

No, actually they worked out between takes, to keep all buffed up. I saw it in the "making of" video. It aired on G-4, I think.

I saw the making that Six was talking about, and I know they talked quite a bit about the training regimen that they went through, esp the main character who's real name I can't recall at the moment.

While I don't doubt there was some enhancement, they worked their tails off for their physique.

Nothing wrong with a testosterone filled movie, nothing at all!!

I am a huge Frank Miller fan so i had already reqad the graphic novel, so for me it was like Sin City, just awesome to see movement to something i already loved in stills.

Nothing unless you tend to think testosterone = bad....

And I agree, visually 300 and Sin City were awesome. Frank Miller's style translates well into films.

The Dark Knight should have been done as well, but that will probably never happen, now.

Frank Miller = awesome, period. Too bad he's all old and crusty now :( I hope he cranks out several more of his masterpieces before he can no longer do so.
