I recently set this up and I must say it's pretty spiffy. It was one of the reasons I was trying to figure out what my wireless network was going b/c I wanted to be able to stream video to my 360 from one of my PCs.

The reason being... I TiVo, I convert to a different format from the .tivo and then I stream to my entertainment center in my LR. I discovered a program called "transcode 360" that lets you play divx, xvid, etc. With my changes to my wireless network I am getting near HD quality signal and loving it.

Anyone else doing similar stuff? Also, I'd like to know if similar things can be done with the ps3, I just haven't messed with it yet. The 360 requires a media center enabled PC; I don't know what the PS3 requires if anything.

I am also looking for a good remote solution to use with everything. I hate having 50 billion remotes to control everything, argh. Any suggestions? Some guys I work with mentioned a logictech, not sure of model.

Is the AppleTV a seperate component?

And, I just discovered this weekend that the PS3 does stream most all of the formats and you do not need Vista or Media Center to do it!!! I like this much better :) So, I bought the Blu-Ray remote for the PS3 this weekend.
