According to those close to him, he had been surrounded by enablers who encouraged his OxiClean huffing habit for years. His personal chemical engineer sought for questioning after disappearing last night.

4th death? I'm pretty sure he's not the 4th person to ever die - nor is he the 4th person to die since Ed McMahon died a few days ago.

heh, well if we find some blood soaked shammies in the closet we'll know who did it

Apparently he was in a rough landing on an aircraft and was hit in the head with some luggage - felt fine and went home where he passed.

4th public figure to die in the last week. Greystone you know better then to post something without being specific as hell. Weak minded people get confused easily.

:devil

With summer winds blowing and a drought across much on the nation, the amount of sand in the collective board vagina gets very high.

Sad to hear about this. About the sandy vagina i guess we need some vinegar and water and a soft brush ?

I'm just confused by the rules of who's recent deaths we're supposed to care about more than others. David Caradine's apparently doesn't count for some reason. Nor do all the people in Iran who were protesting or the people killed in the recent DC Metrorail collision.

And sure, it bothers me that people get so absorbed with this trivial nonsense when there are tons of pressing things (nuclear North Korea, a 17% joblessness in the US, and a US Governor skipping the country and not telling anyone where he was going/not transfering power so he could go bang his mistress) that our news certainly should be covering but there's no ratings unless you show 22 minutes of Michael Jackson grabbing his crotch.

Not that the news is to blame either, since here without an editor we have 3 threads on "famous" deaths yet none on some of the recent pressing news events except Iran.

Pft. I'm still trying to figure out why Michael Jackson's music still fill the top ten lists for songs and albums on iTunes. Didn't people realize they could buy his stuff before he died?

People need their icons, I suppose. A nameless death in the middle east, or a car accident victim in the US, hardly counts.

The real W.T.F. is that people were so busy paying attention to their celebrities that you barely heard a word about this massive environmental bill that passed the House Friday afternoon.

Maybe Miley Cyrus will sprain her ankle when it comes up in the Senate, and no one will realize there's new taxes until their bills go up!

I forgot that. It was a pretty narrow pass (219 to 212 I think) but it won't have trouble in the Senate. The fiscal problems there should work themselves out in the long run (cost effective energy efficiency and all that) and the tax burden will be minor, but the fact that he was able to pass it shows he doesn't need the Republicans or their input on Health Care and that is where our taxes are going to fly.

But who really knows? Both sides dredged up convincing facts supporting their arguments for and against the bill. Meanwhile the damn thing was just over 1,200 pages long and you know most of them never read it before voting. I know I certainly don't know all of what's actually in it, and I pay more attention to this stuff than many.

Kelraz, in the end we dont know the names of any of the people that died, we have no memories of experiences that our lives shared with there.

We have a thread about the rail, we have a HUGE thread about iran. We talk about pretty much every issue that comes up. I dont understand your reaction to this thread.

I know there was a stink about the bill as the members were given insufficient time (less than a day IIRC) to review the final product before the vote was forced through.

The Senate still needs to weigh in, but I'm not optimistic it will be treated any differently there.

i wonder if he will be buried in a oxyclean casket and if it will have a shamwow draped over it. It is knda funny that this happened in a strange morbid coincidental way. On the discovery show Sullivan was telling Mays he should fly private/leased planes only they are safer and less crowded. In fact it shows them on the show in their new plane. It seems almost like Sully knew something would happen.

David Carradine doesn't count?

All of the people on Bylimet's list have died in the last week. Carradine was almost a month ago. I'm sure that's why he wasn't included in Byl's list.

they are now saying heart attack. <borrows sixee's tin foil hat> is this a line paid for by the airlines? oh well still a big loss.

As Tal pointed out, the time frame was why I did not include David Carradine in my lists. And, personally, I would have gone with Carradine, McMahon and Fawcett were it not for the time lag. So few probably even recognize Gale Storm's name I could have used Jackson, Mays and Travalena for the second set.

I in no way want to show any lack of respect for David Carradine, as I enjoyed his movies a lot, even the really crappy stuff.

Oh yeah, Norm Coleman's senate race died today. LOLOLOLOLOLOL
