First new server in three years for eq1 goes up tomorrow.

...And all chars start level 51 with 50aa. Can you say Bot server? Everyone's going to have their own full set of trade skill mules...sigh....

Well you guys voted on it :) Players only got to vote. They also said there will probably be a progression server in about 6 months since it was close in votes.

I am referring to the players of course and not you specifically Maniacles.

I have been thinking about making a mage to screw around on. Since I doubt I could play it seriously anymore.

So, i've played 2 days. It's interesting walking around in armor that makes level 51-60 feel like level 1-10... I mean, I did juggs as my first level 51 camp with 4 other toons to break (necro, shaman, monk sk, wizard), and just 3 of us to maintain it (necro, shaman, monk). One night of leveling, and i got to 55. Fun stuff.

I'll probably mess around with it some, good way to test out alts.

After playing this all weekend, i have to say, i've changed my mind. This server beats the crap out of a progression server. I can't imagine playing without Mercs now.

Ok, after much deliberation I've reactivated my account, gotten the latest expansion and have made two toons on the Mayong server. Binuven is my 51 Enchanter and Kalenved is my 51 Necromancer. Anyone else on there? Any casual guilds kicking around? Wouldn't mind seeing some old faces hehe.

I can't get over the amount of activity on this server. I've not seen this many people in Velks since over 6 years ago!

And if you're looking to purchase plat, forget it. The prices are WAY up there, highest I've ever seen!

Same here IB, never could play more than one toon in any game.
