This isnt as good a thing as you all might wanna believe. If the country degenerates into waring factions then democracy is doomed. The problem of peace in the middle east is caused by this very same tendancy. It will be interesting to see how the new Iraqi government deals with this.

I agree. It is a fine line there. One hand it's great to see them sick of the crap these fundimentalists dish out. On the otherhand it could drive the whole stinking arm pit of a place into civil war.

Iamasci, pay attention.

This is why, as Marz said, "The beheading game is going to backfire on them".

The more these sort of people blow up Iraqis and sabotage efforts to help them, the more Iraqis are going to realize who is really hurting them and fight back.

I view this as a great thing, Iraqis are starting to take responsibility and personally fight against terrorism. This will greatly assist our troops who are currently out there fighting.

That's great news. The Iraqi's are realizing that these outsiders only agenda is to make the coalition look bad...at the expense of Iraqi lives. They don't give a rat's ass about Iraq.

I do worry about these guys though:

a skillful Iraqi government could co-opt some of the guerrillas and reconcile with the leaders instead of fighting them.
I sure hope this is what happens.
