...With OSG,

I really do like your participation on this board. and i think i do understand that your hardcore rightwing nutjob stance is more a role than anything else. I.E. your not really that much of an asshole in RL, you just play one on the Internet.

But.....you have managed to cross the line and actually pissed me off in RL. not an easy thing to do.

I've seen you call Bylimet unpatriotic. Really? A Vietnam vet unpatriotic? I don't want to know the things this man saw, or glimpse the nightmares he was burdened with as the price of his service! all I know is that he has earned and is far more worthy to walk American soil than either you or I.

And then you have to go and call Rover a Commie! Really??...A small business owner a commie? anti-american scumbag? or would it be more appropraite to refer to him as i'm thinking would be his preference as simply. Marine!
I remember the day Beruit happened! it was a day of Infamy for sure. differance bieng i watched it on TV. Rover watched it with his eyeballs! 99.99% of Americans lost faceless names on a list. Rover lost friends!!!!

The same mantra applies to everyone on this board whoever spent even a minute with thier dick in the shit!

Osg, I would'nt want to see you stop posting, or throwing Barbs, Flinging Poo ETC. all I would ask of you is to take a brief second before you hit the submit button. understand that even on the Intrawebs there can be a line. Toe right up to it, but please don't cross it.

To be fair, he only gives as good as he gets around here.

Well, I wouldn't like to think of my service to the country as "Having my dick in the shit.", but I certainly understand where you are coming from, Velvet.

Incidentally, you probably played right into what he wanted. He spewed, you got mad, and responded.

Not to defend Osg, but he does receive a lot of incoming fire. A lot of it, however, is asked for.

Vel, I understand you are upset. I missed whatever he said about me, I guess, but what is great is that he can say it without fear of "the authorities". The freedoms we have in this country are very special, as we can easily see by watching the world news; Iran right now is a great example to use to explain "freedom" versus the lack of it.

I like Osg providing a counterbalance, and like all of us he sometimes might say something that could have been put in a better way. Shit happens, and like in real life, you can never put the words back in your mouth once they are out there.

My suggestion would be when he pisses you off, go grab a beer and a bowl. Watch something on the tube, or a movie, or take a walk, or just sit in the yard and enjoy your surroundings. Nothing said on these boards is that important to allow it to ruin your day or evening.
