NO there is not.
Actually, there is a "Archive" possibility in the administration part of a Forum, but you need to have some sort of special account for it. And even then, I hardly believe that anyone uses it.
I never used that feature as I was administrator of our old Guildforum on ezBoard (you remember that one Halo) and I see no reason why our admins would use it. So my answer would be no.

However, there is always the trash can where most deleted entire threads go to live for a while.

Some boards are at least partly archived by outside sources.

Try web.archive.org if you're looking to dig up an old thread. You may need to remember what the old ezboard server numbers were depending how far back you want to go (it used to be on pub42, not sure if it has moved more than once).
