Ok, I want to make an alt to group with some friends.
They are a 58 bard and 59 druid. (I can get to 57 in 4-5 days if i push myself to it)
What would be a good complement class, i was thinking beastlord... any advice?

Pally!
You can tank, bard can slow, and druid can heal. BST would be a good choice too though.

Well, you have slowing/CC/healing/porting already covered, but it looks to me like you are a little weak on tanking. That leaves a melee or a pet class. You might try an SK or a Bst and get some of both.

A Wizard could even tank Tier 1...But I'd say go with Shadow Knight...they are very fun, and you can FD when you pull too much and let your friends die while you lauf at them!

It depends on what you wish to do, and your gear set basically ... allow me to suggest a few options.
Kiting: A Shaman, Wizard, or Mage would be an excellent addition to a kiting group. They would provide dps and the bard can dot kite the snared mob as the pets beat away. With a shaman you can root rot a number of mobs at once, keeping them rooted and away from the mob. Quad kiting is another option too ...
Traditional: The best choice in my oppinion is a paladin. I've grouped with countless people, and while there are exceptions, as a general rule a paladin can spot heal as well as grab agro like nobody's business keeping the rest of the members of the group alive. When I do LDoN Hard missions I always look for a paladin first, shadowknight second, and either beastlord or warrior third. The other 3 spots in your group could easily be filled with dps or a slower and your group can go anywhere and do anything with the initial bard + druid + paladin combo (slows, rezzing, healing, plenty of buffs, the works!)

Yep a bard can tank, but when they do, their songs are constantly getting interrupted and stunned while they get slapped around. Not that big a deal when you are twisting every few seconds anyway, but its more convenient to not have to remember where you were in the song rotation.

Bard tanking...giggle.
Seriously, the proper complement to that pair is paladin.

Yeah, bards *can* tank, its second nature to me in the normal LDoNs to pull 4 or 5 and tank a handful of them ... but honestly you need a crapload of gear, and I'm still trying to figure out how to over-agro a cleric that just cast a cheal or two. I'm one of the better equiped bards on the server, and I'll admidt that its still hard for me to hold agro or to avoid getting my ass pounded in places like BoT.
