Overall it was a good movie, you will like it more if you were a fan of the series.

I really wasnt suprised with this one, MTV will never come up with a blockbuster movie.

I do think of this alot like Equilibrium though.. the fight scenes are awesome and innovative but there are scenes that are dry and just feel drawn out.

Probably better as a rental then going to the movie theatre unless ur a big fan, So is anyone planning on seeing this movie?

Semi-OT. I liked Equlibrium as well, except it needed to have been about half an hour shorter, Cleric.

I'm in the air about seeing it. Sometimes those movies leave me sitting there thinking 'I just spent how much to see this??!!' I'll probably wait for the rental, but I'm going to see it. The series was good. It will be interesting to see how they convert it to a real action movie.

Was pretty good. Nothing terribly special. The entire point of the movie was to look cool, and it suceeded there. And it is indeed similiar to Equilibrium, though nowhere near as good. Action scenes, story, acting, none of that was even on the same level.

Excluding the one 'good' Goodchild, it's practically impossible to take anyone or anything in this movie seriously. Turn your brain off, and its worth seeing once.

Watched it this weekend, have never watched the original. I thought it was pretty cool, though with Equilibrium I thought that one was badass. so with Equilibrium being a 9, Aeon Flux, 7 with bonus points for Charlize Theron wearing very little in a few scenes ;)

I'm going to have to check out Equilibrium.

alot of MOvie places at least around here these days doesnt have equilibrium anymore lol I am really shocked to find anyone else that liked that movie.. I thought the scene where he uses the handle of his gun to knock out like 6 guys that are around him was pretty sweet.

That, and insta-pwning the 8 guys with their own katanas was pretty hot!

Just let me know when to upload a DiVX copy of Equlibrium. Pick a size in megs, please and I'll start compressing :)
