To show my illiteracy, can someone explain to me the translation of the word "MAMACITA"?
I've heard it used in a couple different ways and am not sure of its meaning.
Thanks!

It's Spanish for little mother, some people use it as a term of endearment for grandmother. It mainly depends upon local dialect and custom.

Ya, mamacita is a spanish equivilant of "babe" or "hot chick."
Most times, it gets shortened to "mami." Spanish girls use
"papi" or "papito" when talking about guys. For even more slang fun use " Ay mamichula" or "Ay papichulo," basic meaning is the same, but more emphasis. It's like saying, "Damn baby!" The Puerto Rican girls who work with me seem to like it...
