I actually heard the press conference live and it wasn't that big a deal in my opinion. I though Obama's first press conference (if you could call it that) went well :)
He sounded very presidentail actually.

Substance Osg, substance...things like attacking countries that didn't do anything to us, or the non-capture of Bin Laden or the economy or handing banks 700 billion without conditions or hurricanes that wipe out cities and the non-response or appointing a guy whose total experience was in managing arabian horse shows to be in charge of the disaster management of the entire US or the 12 billion spent every month on a country that shows a budget surplus while our country has a record deficit or the quickly becoming an untenable situation in Afghanistan or the removal of your constitutional rights as a citizen (because he could give a shit about your rights too)..
You want to critique the President on things, go after those things they are much more important to the country and the future of your children if you have any.
BTW, I saw the press conference, he said it about Nancy Reagan, don't forget she said she did that, but he did step up to the plate and phoned her with an apology of which she graciously accepted so no issue there anymore however so small it is.

Osg, Osg, Osg ..... the only bufoonery here is your own, in these pathetic attempts to find fault, or cast aspursions on the winner of the campaign.
As San has already said to Fanny, lighten up and allow him to provide some real ammuniton; Obama is not going to be infallible, and if you are this hell bent on finding fault, your day will come.

I thought the buffoonery began 8 years ago.... maybe I missed something though.

We do need to show some compassion and understanding here. Osg has been part of the politics of deflection for probably his whole life.
Issue: Stock Market Drops 4000 points
Response: OMG he said lipstick on a pig
Issue: War in Iraq basically the same as flushing 12 billion dollars down the toilet every month.
Response: OMG you can see up Britneys skirt.
Issue: John Kerry gives campaign speech on economic policy
Response: Terror Alert on 3 year old previously debunked information about a guy with a beard who took a picture of a bridge
Issue: Halliburton knowingly overcharging billions of dollars to US Government for services in Iraq.
Response: The Liberal Media hates us

Yep, then in 70 days or so that Marxist will leave office and you can feel free once Obama gets in.
