NO GOD DAMNIT!

First, I'll say I don't care about the HGH shit. I didn't care with Matthews Jr., I don't care about Glaus, I don't care about Ankiel. It was banned and he said he stopped taking it - not to mention he was fricking rehabbing after surgery when this went down. 2 years later he starts hitting homeruns in one of the true good baseball stories in a long time, and this shit comes up. Regardless of whether Cardinal Nation and other people believe it or not it is going to tarnish this event - coincidentally released right after the end of the game in which he hit 2 HRs and 7 RBIs... Even if he did use this and I would never say he didn't because I don't know, it was to heal from a surgery. I don't see how this compromises the game at all. I was there to see his first homerun and I hope to be there to see many more, I hope this doesn't affect him.

I agree...this sucks. Ainkel was the first legitimate feel good story in baseball in a while :(

I do agree that this doesn't compromise the game, there's nothing left to compromise. Baseball is the epitome of everything that can be wrong with a sport in america.

Though it's humorous that the same people that hate Barry Bonds for steroids make excuses for players they like that get caught with their hands in the cookie jar.
