So, last night my girlfriend's graphics card died. I figure it'll cost $100-$150 to replace it, and her PC is pretty old, so why not just get something new ...

So she's been looking around and found this by Costco:

We're platinum members over there so we get free tech support and stuff, so it might not be a bad deal. Basically, she wants to be able to play Everquest2 and World of Warcraft and listen to iTunes. Is it decent enough, or know anything better for $700 and under?

I think it will run both ok but not sure about graphics quality in EQ2. I don't know much about 9400 series; I have zero complaints about the 9800 though! Otherwise it looks ok to me; I think she'll be fine.

It would be able to play them, but not well.

Main thing is the video card. Here (http://www.pcgameshardware.com/?menu=browser&article_id=657567&image_id=883996) is a benchmark on it . While, yes, UT3 is much more graphically intensive than even EQ2, I don't think the 9400 will cut it (not at any reasonable resolution that is). Its a budget card, going for ~$50. You're better off paying $100 - $150 for a 9800.
