The people who run OPEC seriously need to DIAF... twice...

To be fair, and not actively in defense of OPEC here as they certainly enjoyed the high prices, they didn't precisely overcharge as they were as much at the whim of (possibly illegal) speculation in world commodity markets fueled by trillions of dollars in imaginary money they had no hand in creating. Many members of OPEC have a one-trick economy, and that's oil.

That being said I don't have to like it.

Oh I'm sure they will, though the thought of buying my own (*^&%$@ing 10,000 Gallon tank and stockpiling gas is getting appealing.

I just hope as Americans our ADD doesn't kick in until after we start creating and refining more alternative fuel sources.

Yeah it sucks but you don't have to support it. Find alternate transportation options if you want to make a stance against it.

This is why we need alternative energy resources...plain and simple.
