Hello all,
I play a lvl 70 wizzy and am looking for a guild. I have only been playing for about a year so so im just getting into PoP stuff and have a few flags. Since I only have about 75aa's and not EP flagged is there any raiding guilds on our server who still hit pre EP stuff and and raid almost every night. I love to raid and was raiding everynight is not a problem. I really want to advance and see Time and beyond but I feel like I'm being left farther and farther behind. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

I suggest you go out and buy World of Warcraft and leave EQ as far behind you as you can.

I think Final Destiny would be a good guild to look into. Fairly certain they are PoP/Pre-Time guild. Valiant Crusaders as well. Kadath I believe is an officer for VA. Fellowship of the Dragons just broke into PoT, talk to Radical if you like them.

Those are just a few good guilds for the level you are talking about. I'm certain a few more are out their, I just don't follow it too much anymore.

Could use some more mid-high level guilds though, the top three need to farm recruits. :)

I think Final Destiny would be a good guild to look into. Fairly certain they are PoP/Pre-Time guild. Valiant Crusaders as well. Kadath I believe is an officer for VA. Fellowship of the Dragons just broke into PoT, talk to Radical if you like them.

Actually, Kadath is VC, not VA. ;)

VA is currently working on (a) gearing up in the elementals [and elsewhere], and (b) finishing off Water and Earth. While we might consider an applicant without elemental flags, they wouldn't be able to participate in the majority of our raiding without the headache of virtual flagging.

VC is currently in what we call 'friends and family' recruiting mode. The problem is of course backflagging. Even with the somewhat decent changes SOE implemented every new recruit who doesnt have the vast majority of pre elemental flags (especially RZ) is going to find it very frustrating trying to get those missing flags when we finally turn our attention to elemental raiding only. We're not in a position where we can down the elemental gods and get people the nice fet out of jail free tokens that a time raiding guild can get for its members. While we do occaissionally field full raids that still means we can only have 12 max virt flags and a LD or two makes that a nightmare to deal with.

Also, you have to realize that VC is a casual guild that raids twice a week and not a raiding guild with casual elements. We take things at our own speed and those who seek to be on the leading edge or raiding every night would not be a good fit.

While we are in restricted recruiting mode, potential recruits are welcome to join us on tuesday and sunday nights as we raid to see how we work. If they are willing to hang on until we open up recruiting again and understand we will not be spending significant amounts of energy backflagging again, thats the way to go.

Thanks for all the info. Seems even with the new back flagging system It will be hard for me to find a home. For flags I have HoH1 and 2, Grummus, MB, PoJ, all 5 sol ro minis, hedge, and PoV. I have killed TZ and the othere guy in tactics but failed on RZTW. I might be missing some but you get the genral idea of where I am in the game.

He said he wanted to go beyond time. I think starting his own guild from scratch might be a faster route then the above mentioned. :devil

You're not as far back then as your original message led me to believe. We'll actually be doing a lot of backflagging in the next week or so to avoid further backflagging issues with our existing members. Again, if the idea of a two night a week raiding guild and (again) one that isnt currently rampaging the elementals nightly doesnt immediately make you discount us, give our site a look and contact me in game after 8 EST tonight. VC is a predominantly EST guild but we have members around the globe.
