Wow, been playing this the last week or so - unbelievably enjoyable, great graphics and the re-creation of medieval Florence and Venice is absolutely spectacular, I mean I'm 'oohing' at streets I've actually walked down in real life.

Great non-linear game for anyone interested, I'd say a mix between Oblivion and Splinter Cell!

I'm guessing it's out for the PC now?

I played it on the 360 when it first came out and just loved it until medical leave was over and I went back to work. I haven't played it much since then. But it was tons of fun. I found Prince of Persia reminded me so much of the game too....more so than PoP game. It's allot better than AC1 IMO.

It doesn't have much replay value, but yeah, it's fantastic visually, and the free running is a blast. I played it on the 360 too.

Yep out on the PC since March I think - I agree not sure about replayability but right now I've clocked about 30 hours over the past couple of weeks and I don't think I'm halfway through yet. Venice is stunning!

Does this one have subtitles?

There are optional subtitles, yes. The subtitles contain both the Italian phrases used and their translations. (The dialogue is generally in English, but is peppered with Italian words and phrases, along with a few Latin sentences.)

It reminds me of the way Chinese is used in Firefly: there is typically enough context to understand what was said without knowing the non-English words used. And it lets them get away with a lot more profanity than they might otherwise!

I may have to check this out when the price drops a bit. It annoys me to no end when companies release games without subtitles...I share the room where I game with a wife and sometimes other people, and they don't all need to hear everything cranked. I remember a very angry article from some deaf gamers about the first Assassin's Creed as well.

It's worth the annoyance - or invest in some headphones? :P
