Many people tried to but there were so many misinformed loudmouths that were blaming the worthless derivatives on the homeowner and refused to lay the blame on the piles of shit that were packaging them as AAA rated great investments. I think they called it a lack of personal responsibility.

Because it was Geithner in the library with the candlestick who forced you to sign that contract? Meanwhile, what in the world does your past lack of diligence have to do with the current administration's treasury secretary dodging questions about future derivatives?

Geithner and a number of the other Goldman alums are probably the single biggest concern most of the independents, and really anyone paying attention at all, have about the Obama presidency. We have in essence simply gotten the next class of the same school that's been aggressively pursuing massive behind-the-scenes policy changes since the 1970s.
