I have tried 4 different sites, including photobucket.com (The site that hosted the pics I put in the RL section)

I downloaded from my computer's saved picture. Wouldn't work with a url for some reason for me.

Probaby the hosting site for the image she was trying to get didn't allow third party linking, so VB wasn't able to pull it.

Fix the damn Avatars so Trikki can get on with it!

Here's a quick workaround for those of you still struggling to get your anime ^_^ avatars up:

(1) Download the desired avatar to your desktop by right clicking the image and clicking "Save image as ..."
(2) Give your image a name and hit save.
(3) Go to your user control panel and edit your profile. Locate the image file and upload it to the server.

Some sites will block requests for images if they aren't be accessed from a particular page or site (referral URLs). That's why you won't be able to use the URL feature for all images. It will work for most cases, but there will always be the exception.
