This forum is very efficient, very accessible, and well designed/ran.

But it's so... lifeless, thereafter. It has a very mechanical feel about it. Little distinguishes it (except the content of threads, of course) from any other vBulletin Board.

Whether or not you agree with that - could we perhaps, as a collective, field some attempt to produce a nice Ayonae logo for the forum? Is that at all possible?

Maybe something that even harks back, or nods to, the old Aro days? Remember the flaming Aro woman?

Halo (who I think is now temporarily banned) is calling Sanchek out for his becoming too jaded in his position. I would offer Halo my support, but I don't see Sanchek listening to anyone other than himself anymore so I see it as a futile exercise.

Other than that, folks seem to be trying to maintain the sense of community and shared experiences that has made this a place that still draws us to engage in debate and fun exchanges; and, it seems more lately that some are drawn to use this forum as a means to channel their anger with real life problems and dump on folks they don't need to worry about ever seeing.

All in all, it is still the first place I check out in the morning, and the last one I look in on before bed. But then, I am an old duffer, so what do I know? :)

This exemplifies exactly what people have been saying and complaining about; rather than being a member of this forum you have become so full of yourself that you are conducting your own little private sociological experiments on the forum members which will no doubt justify whatever position you decide you wish to take.

I used to have a lot of respect for you, San, but you now remind me more of any one of the last half dozen Speaker of the House type politicians; once in power, the change is swift and seldom of benefit to those that the one in charge is supposed to serve.

The ingame pictures of A.Ro make me lawl, I do like the magic card Fire Elemental. Wonder if anyone has the moxxy to maybe take some other MAgic art and modify it to be on fire, Serra Angel comes to mind.

Honestly, what is so hard about putting up a logo? At least it might calm things down a tad. Plenty of computer-saavy people these days can crap out a dozen decent images in Photoshop or GIMP within about 10 minutes... though not me.

Since it's for free she'll only get to it when she has free time :( But I will keep bugging her.
