i like the first one

1. cause it reminds me of Final Fantasy.
2. just cause it seems to be the one most worked on..

Yeah, the first one is the most "complete".

While the second one fits in with the current color scheme, it doesn't match what the ingame lore for Ayonae Ro is supposed to be. Ayonae Ro is supposed to be some sort of fire diety, right? (I dimly remember some of the conversations over the logo on the EZboard...)

They are all good, I like #2 cause it matches this eye blistering color scheme. #1 doesn't fit, but grafficaly imo wins. My vote is #2 though.

Number 1 is beautiful, I love it. But it really doesn't fit your theme =/.

Number 3 would be my choice. I like the simplicity of it. :) It's got a classic, sophisticated feel to it.

Did you just call the color pallette of white/cool blue eye blistering? Do you have cyber eyes that allow you to look at the world in different wavelengths then the rest of us? ;P

#1 is awesome, but I agree it doesn't fit the color scheme, were we to change from the corporate blue/gray and move to black it would be perfect.

I like the simplicity of #4, it's clean and professional, but again doesn't fit the colors. However, if you went with two formats or allowed us to choose you might be able to do some neat stuff ;)

#4 would be better if the background gradient was done away with, and the color scheme was changed to amtch the board's scheme.

I would also make the "Ayonae Ro" text a bit larger, if it were my choice.

#1 can fit the color scheme - test it using test style

vBulletin provides all the graphic files in photoshop format, so customizing the layout so that it fits with the logo will work.

EDIT: Keep in mind we will still have a work layout. I'm not very artistically inclined (numbers person, here), so I'll delegate this task to Sanchek or some other sexy admin.

can you make teh background a little bit lighter? maybe more of a brown?

Ayonae Ro was the goddess of poetry and music. She wasn't some wierd looking anime fairy though, I'd say go with number 2 because the lighter color scheme is better

Created at the whim of the demi-goddess Druzzil Ro for the purpose of creating music to soothe the soul, Ayonae Ro grew to develop powers and a distinct personality of her own. go with the 3rd one for sure. The red and black are too dark and the transparent one has some wierd edges

haha, my l33t photoshop skills :) When he's not busy, I'll ask him to draw some more for us, perhaps folder icons, post buttons so forth, 'cause he's a friggin' awesome artist. Anyway, I suck at Photoshop, so, uhh ... if he comes up with anything else i'll be sure to post it here

I personally love the fourth one ... I am not much of a fan of putting any type of character image in the backdrop of a general forum logo (though I admit it looks neat). Enlarge number 4 a bit and mess with the colors some to both lighten it and make it fit the color scheme, and I think it will work perfect: Simple, elegant, professional, and just kind of says "Ayonae Ro - we are bad ass".

#2, or at least something semi-related to the gaming community.

I don't understand why our logo for an everquest board would look like a character out of an anime movie? I know Rybit is obsessed with anime, but we shouldn't have a logo for our board that is anime because one of the mods gets a burr up his keister for it. Therefore, I chose the plain AR logo #3. And why do the letters look like Halo font?

I just gave him the description of the Ayonae Ro goddess and he drew her. Is there something else you'd like him to draw? I can pass it on, and when he's free from finals, he can work on it.

1) This is barely an EQ board anymore.
2) We could have someone draw her in an EQ style, but then she would look retarded.
