I've been hearing more and more comments about different camp names between the two servers so I thought perhaps a decoder ring might help.

Please add to list as you guys decipher them. This is all I can think of right now.

DS = U.S. (upper sand?) on trib
CY = Bees on trib

Logix is working very hard to change the C1 - C6 sillyness.

For Tribunal people:

C1 = Clarity
C2 = Clarity II or C2
C3 = Koadic's Endless Intellect or KEI
C4 = Tranquility or Tranq
C5 = Voice of Quellious or VoQ
C6 = Clairvoyance or CV

c1-6 is wayyyy easier to type. =p But you will hardly ever see me asking for em less you are in my guild.

Also there are a few camps in RS that are different. I believe y'all call it the Queen Camp, we call it like... r/s camp (researcher and summoner).

I might be a little off on those, I don't exp much and when I do I'm just a follower. ;)

For those who are having trouble deciphering the new /ooc's in The Tribunal Plane of Knowledge, here is a quick handy guide to mind candy and other buffs.

C1 = Breeze - Kinda like having your sister blow in your ear, not bad but won't really do much for you.

C2= Clarity - Better than having your sister blow in your ear, but still doesn't do much for you.

C3 = Clarity II - Kinda like having your good looking cousin blow in your ear, gives you ideas but still not the best thing around.

C4 = KEI (Koadic's Endless Intellect) - The stuff crack heads were made of. A taste of this and you're hooked for life. It's as good as having your girlfriend/spouse blow in your ear.

C5 = Tranquility - Better than KEI, but doesn't last as long. It's kinda like having a hot woodchip blow in your ear... among other things.

C6 = Clairvoyance - Will make you drool in your sleep, will give you ideas and the motivation to do something about those ideas, and is like having Angelina Jolie blow in your...err.. well.. nevermind... See the note above regarding ideas.

There you have it friends... a complete guide to mana regen, mind candy, crack and other fun things that chanters do when not pulling trains or polishing their fingernails.

Camp title discussion reminds me of the time we all came from our home servers.....Karnors castle had many different names from karana, sol ro and CT.

It's not Wunshi it's Wooooshi jeeeeez even the shammys can't get their buffs right.

As far as the Clarity.. c3 is KEI for one it's just easier to ask for c3 and it is the next in the mana regen line after Clarity II hence the C3. Like Jaydeeeeee, you won't see me begging or offering to pay for buffs in the PoK. You may see me /ooc in PoK but it won't be for buffs.

Aro people are really touchy with their c3/kei thing. They freak out when someone asks for c3.

Reminds me of the time a native Tribunalite flipped out on the group since we tend to do random rolls of 5 555 and such on ARo. Apparently that system is a lot crappier than rolling 0 100 :D

People on Trib have never learned the spells because of the C? stuff. I've had people ask for C5 who really wanted clairvoyance, a lot of people asking for C2 thinking it was clarity. Top that off with many people not knowing I'm a chanter casting chanter buffs becuase I advertise KEI and not C3. Causes a lot of confusion, people need to learn the spell names and what level they land on so they know what to ask for.

Oh yeah, and my paladin is getting a lot of requests for temp and "V". Guess Tribs can't tell the diff between a paladin and a cleric.

I can't give explanations for people asking for the wrong buff. I ususally just ask for c in general...and I take whatever I get. Heh

i did think it was funny when the stupid people would ask me for clarity or temp and i'm standing there with my 1.5epic and my booboo bear, and they spent the time to type my name out (yes, i know they did because it was usually followed with "i tried 3 times to type it out and finally typed it right")

You still play Eq2 Gaed? Gods, tried typing your name half a dozen times with no luck from Najena. ;(

noone that I know of means breeze when they say C1... they're talking about clarity. Same goes for C2... that's always meant Clarity II.

VTB ran a Shotraid open raid on Saturday night, to take down RZ, and another Tribunalism-vs-A Ro-ism popped up.

For us old Tribunal types, getting into a zone you're not flagged for via sufficient number of raid members with the flag is a "gimp". We found much confusion, as many of the A Ro people were asking about VFs, aka "Virtual Flags", which is the same thing.

It's the old Churchill bit all over again, two great servers seperated by a common language :D
