Every year in the area I live in, there is an event commemorating WWII. Known as World War II weekend the event is pretty durn big, literally thousands of people. It includes historic re-enactors, restored WWII aircraft, displays, guest speakers etc... really a neat thing, lots of living history.

There was four of the actual members of Easy Company, 506th Para Reg 101st Airborne, the real "Band of Brothers" guys.

They had an autograph signing line set up where people were having them sign books and movie posters etc. I brought with me a helmet from WWII which was from the 506th Reg, I had bought it years ago, so I asked them if they would sign it, they did...Excellent!

My son has a great collectors piece now, made even greater by these true heroes signatures.
