Hi all,
I just put in a motherboard to a second computer I have and the BIOS that runs when you first start up the computer goes really realy slow... takes forever to find the IDE's its just downright slow.. I was wondering if anyone knws how I can troubleshoot this or anything at all about BIOS going slow.. BTW the motherboard works cause not even a hour before that I was using that exact cpu and motherboard in my primary computer.. any help would be great thanks.

Go into your BIOS and enable 'Fast Boot' or whatever similar. If that doesn't help, you may need to make sure the Master and Slave on the optical drives are set right. Sometimes those drives or the motherboard port does not like the 'Cable Select' setting. Check the jumper(s) on your hard drive(s), too.
