Well, I had no intention of ever seeing this, but it was a gift.

I have seen Bladerunner at least four times. I can not explain what exactly was the difference, or what enhancement might have been done, but for some reason I really was caught up more in this viewing than any of the previous.

This is one of those classics that I cannot critique; I can only say I enjoyed it a lot.

Other good Director's cuts include Alien, and Aliens. There are more scenes, that help the flow of the stories, rather than trying to make a 3 hour movie fit into 2.5 hours.

And ANOTHER great director's cut: The Abyss. Seriously. If you haven't seen the director's cut of The Abyss, you haven't seen The Abyss.

I think I preferred the older Director's Cut to the Final Cut, although there are only minor differences. I remembered them when I saw the slightly changed scenes ... maybe I was alone in kind of liking Ford's voice-overs, it added to the gumshoe feel of it.

Another good Director's Cut is Legend.

Heck, It's almost a completely different movie....
