Okay, so I already have an XBox that I've, uhh, made a few modifications to. This makes it kind of a pita when trying to join xbox live stuff. So, on to my decision, I'm getting my CCNA course this December and I get to choose from a PS2 or an XBox as my little gift thing for registering.

So, do I get the X and not mod it, or do I get the PS2? Keeping in mind that I play mostly RPGs and FPS games like teh Halo.

Well, for FPS and online play I would choose XBox, but I prefer PS2 for RPGs (Final Fantasy, et cetera). PS2 graphics and gameplay generally leave much to be desired these days, while those of XBox (despite its actually lame hardware by PC standards) are still very decent.

Also, PS2 has gotten a makeover (or will soon, at least) and is now a lot thinner and smaller.

In conclusion, if I were you I would choose the XBox.

the 3rd revision is already out for the ps2, i'd suggest xbox if you are into playing the live, for me the ps2 is just collecting dust, the games on it don't have very much of replay value, i find myself playing ps1 games on it more then ps2 games


i suggest the xbox, nothing beats xbox live, not even the phantom console will
