I for one think this will make the eagles an overall better team. no one man is greater than the sport itself and hopefully the jackasses will start to realize this.

I'm sorry but the eagles are wrong in this situation
T.O. while a a rough arond the edges player, hit a career milestone only hit by 5 others before. Any other team would of had mini ceramony or something but the eagles did very very little. If it was a oops, member of management should of made a statement to the fact, which if you read when T.O. got pissed and said what he said, they had plenty of time to recognize his accomplishment.

Considering what a royal pain in the ass TO has been for the Eagles I find it fitting that he got what he sewed.
And yes, it's past time teams stopped allowing Prima Donna's to run rampant on their team unity. Even if in this instance wasn't as severe to warrant indefinate suspension his history does.

Trading punches with a team mate, and then challenging your quarterback and anyone else who wants some to step up is not conducive to building a winning team atmosphere. I think it best he be gone.

Maybe just maybe someday he will realize that he aint gonna win shit unless they other 10 guys on the team help him. Is he a good player? Yeah. Is he one of the better WR's in the game? Yeah. But unless he helps the team win and stops with the jawing with his teammates/team management he's done in Philly. I think Philly will be better off without him, though they are going to have to get a running game going.

I hate T.O. and I'm sooooooooo glad to see this. I think a few of the pros could take a lesson from this.

T.O. officially won't play for the rest of the season according to Andy Reid's press conferance today. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Hopefully, they'll follow through with that and then stop feeding him attention.

Hopefully no teams will pick him up next year.
No more records for TO...and kinda hard to hold yourself as one of the best without that eh?
Ciao TO....NFL will be better withoutcha...

couldnt disagree with you more. T.O. sells tickets. He is extremely exciting to play, he is rough player but, did eveyrone forget the Pistons of the 80's?? That was an entire team of dicks, but regardless of his off field things, he is an amazing player. I really hope the patriots pick him up :) be nice to see some dances in Foxboro

After the remarks he made about McNabb, and the interview where he said the Eagles would be undefeated if Farve was the QB, right down to him deciding it was his right to park in handicapped spots at the practice facility (psychotic?) he is a distraction.
T.O. is allways about TO and the money. No matter where this guy lands, he is destined to be there short term only.
Best analogy I heard was "It's ok to date the stripper, just don't marry her."
The eagles thought he would help get em a superbowl win last year. It was a roll of the dice. Their decision to Keyshawn his ass is the right one.
Next year he will catch on with another team - for another short stink where it's all about him.
To have that kind of million dollar talent and a two cent head is sad.
Talk about potential lost.

Grey, I don't know about others who have posted, but I'm not trying to dismiss the talent. There is a ton of talent in T.O. But that being said he is going to have a tough time winning games all by him self against 11 other guys out there without some help. He just wasn't smart enough to bring his talent to the team and be a team player, which would have lifted the team as a whole. Instead he is out there by himself on the field as 10 guys playing 11 with him allied with the 10.
He is a good player. Just not a good team player. Too bad football is a team sport. If it wasn't a team sport he'd be one of the best of all time.

You simply cannot compare TO to the Bad boys of Detroit in their heyday.
They played rough on the court, but they always were about Team first.
Sorry Grey, you used the wrong analogy there.
/waves at TO....don't let the door hitcha where the good lord split ya....loser....

I agree you can't compare the jackass TO to the Pistons. Those guys were tightknit and in it together. TO only cares about TO and he's the biggest jackass ever. It's funny listening to all the people in this area all saying YAY, it's about effing time. He is not liked here in this part PA at all lol.
One can only hope some other jackasses take notice that no matter your talent, your mouth will not outlive that talent. Buh buh jackass.

Every time I see TO, or hear about him, I have the urge to punch him, or an effigy of him,, in the face. The fact that he wants more money when he's making something like 200,000 a GAME, is insane. Feed my family huh? Gotta put your kids through school huh? Yeah, ok. Ragging on your quarterback, and not expecting to get hammered for it? Really intelligent there. Making a stink over a contract you signed and agreed to, but obviously didn't read closely enough? Again, extremely intelligent.
His whole strut thing everytime he made a touchdown was just idiotic. The ONLY reason any reciever like him is able to make a score is when everyone else is doing their job. Stop thinking that its all about you TO. Its not. Its about working with the people you play with to get it done. Stop trying to steal the spotlight that belongs to them as much as to you.
I hope the raiders pick him up, then he'll be on a team full of loudmouthed airheads.
