He's got a fine coming for sure, not to mention karma.

While I believe the intention was not there to hurt the opposing player, I do think a fine will send the right message to all the players that shit does not happen, and players need to be responsible for their actions.
A season with fewer injuries would be welcome.

It wasn't intentional either, hes a Q-back...and an old one at that. Should fine the coach for putting him in that position in the first place.

Crack backs and chop blocks have been illegal for some time. it's not that he went low it was that he did while the defender was looking the other way. what the hell does this have to do with Vick?? Wilson probably only makes about 1 maybe 1.5 mill a season so getting his blown out ruins his career and this kid will be lucky if makes over the years what Farve will make this year alone. so yea a fine is in order at a minimum.
And I am NO Vick fan. bashing him is worthy of a thread of it's own.

I dont rember the exact name of the play, but its used alot where the QB or one of the back up QB lines up as a reciever near the side lines and cuts back... the ball is then passed to him and that QB then throws the ball either to the other side of the field or down field. That plays confuses most teams thats not paying attention to which recivers are on the field and how they are lined up. Madden 06 FTW :D

There are so many things wrong with this sentence it hurts to read.

The Wildcat offense is nothing new, lot of teams are doing it. Crackback blocks like that are very widely known for injuring players. The fact that he is experienced is even more reason why he should have known better.
Course, it's only a story because of who it is, though if he doesn't get punished then it will just be more evidence of what everyone already knows: Favre gets special treatment.

Being a Packer fan for life, I am not standing up for Farve, fine him. The point being after watching him play for many years, he looked completely out of place on that play...I hate BS hits though that end peoples career, a stiff penalty is in order.
