I watched it and am totally lost. I guess I will have to get my hands on every previous episode and watch them

I caught it only because I was wondering what the DVR was recording. Tied the story lines together very well from the pegasus crew and went a little deeper into the cylons evolution. Great show.

That was awesome!
It did tie some things together but also started other plot lines.

Anyone know if this is bound for iTunes? I missed it as well, stupid friend had a stupid concert in a stupid coffee shop. I need my BSG!
Word of mouth says the next season is delayed, as the networks are postponing some shows thanks to the writer's strike. I saw Moore's name on the list, but I thought the last season was already filmed. Anyone shed any light on this?

All I know is they said March last night, and I think it was supposed to start back in January before? Not sure if I imagined the January thing or not.
As to iTunes, not sure, but I doubt it, the DVD of Razor went on sale today, I think, along with Season 1 in HD DVD. I think iTunes would cut into those sales if they did that.

I don't think you imagined January that is what I had thought as well and was very disappointed to see March. I guess it's b/c of the strike? :(

I don't have satalite set up at my place yet, so I went over to my family's place and set up my mother's laptop to record it with Media Center then I burned it to DVD = D
Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I heard it was great.

I downloaded it off Piratebay. ( I could have taped it if I remembered to set the damn vcr so i don't see it as pirating.)
Wow. That's all I can say.
I found myself saying " holy fuck" alot. It's not very often a tv show gets that kind of reaction from me.

OOOOOh the DVD is out?! Is it in Blue Ray or HD? nevermind I'll go look. I want it! I hear there were some deleted scenes on the TV version that they included on the DVD version.

I could be wrong, but I think Razor was released as a normal DVD and Season 1 was realeased at the same time as an HD release. If the HD release sells well, they will release more in HD.

Actually I was referring to the DVD that I burned from Media Center... I am curious about the extras that are on the official "unrated, extended" DVD though...
Edit:
This is what Amazon.com has to say about the extras:
(BTW... if you haven't watched the episode, or if you're going to watch it and want to be "supprised" by the extras, then don't read this.. not really spoilers per se, but they tell exactly what was added)
The unrated and extended DVD runs 103 minutes, about 16 minutes longer than the Sci-Fi Channel broadcast. There's a brief bit of extra gore from Admiral Cain, and young William "Husker" Adama's (Nico Cortez, nicely channeling Edward James Olmos) mission in the last days of the first Cylon war is now 10 minutes instead of 5, including a spectacular aerial battle. In another new sequence, at the moment when Cain tells Shaw "Sometimes we have to leave people behind so that we can go on," there's a flashback to Cain's experiences in the first Cylon war. Among the bonus features is the complete 19-minute minisode version of Husker's Cylon encounter (previously viewable on Sci-Fi Channel's website) and two deleted scenes. Featurettes include "The Look of Battlestar Galactica" and "My Favorite Episode So Far" ("33" gets a lot of mentions from the cast and crew), and there are a trailer and 2.5-minute "sneak peek" at season 4 (mostly interviewing people who don't know what's going to happen, though Tricia Helfer mentions a new version of herself). In a commentary track for the extended edition, executive producer Ronald D. Moore and writer Michael Taylor discuss how the episode came together (they refer to Razor as episodes as 1-2 of season 4) amid some serious restructuring and bits of trivia, such as how they cast Stephanie Jacobsen in the pivotal role even though she had never watched the show.

I was able to watch this the other night and it was just fantastic. March is going to take forever to get here, ugh!!
Thanks for that bit on the extended cut Akom, might actually move me to buy it. Anyone happen to know off the top of their head when Season 3 will be out on DVD? I missed a couple episodes last season and want to get caught up.
I dont really care about HD/Blu Ray yet as I havent jumped on either band wagon yet. I want to give it a few more months and see if one of them goes the way of beta max.

oddly enough salespeople at Circuit City and Best Buy up here say they are selling 5x as many Blue Ray players as HD-DVD. Shrug I guess time will tell :D I have both so I don't really care tbh. I see no difference between them either.

Sadly, once Season four is done, that's it. :(
I LOVE this series! I've never seen Sci-Fi done so.....gritty! It's awesome! I've had so many converts here in my barracks. I give them a burn of the mini series (when everyone gets nuked) and tell them they'll be back. I've yet to have one person come to me and not ask for Season 1, 2, 3, and Razor.
I LOVE this fraking series!

Its like we're some kind of drug dealers... we know damned well that once we give them a taste (the season 1 mini series) they'll be addicts and come back for more.
Maybe I'll have to start charging a "burn" fee ; p
