I have always looked at his writings as being highly agenda-driven, but this administration has allowed me to develop exactly the kind of cynicism that Suskind appeals to, so I will not say if he is credible or not.

I will say that I don't doubt the charge, regardless of Suskind's tin-foil affinity.

Suskind is a pulitzer winner and noted for his reporting. He's legitimate.

Doesn't matter how legitimate it is. The same people will mindlessly defend bush and insult this guy in all sorts of fun ways, and congress will still do nothing.

The fact that the white house immediately went for character assassination is a pretty obvious sign though.

It would be worth investigating. If proven, there should be some way to press criminal charges on those who ordered it. The CIA's mandate is not to provide disinformation to Congress.
