Another mid-season gem. I love Nathan Fillon from Firefly/Serenity/Buffy aka Joss Whedon stuf.

He is a novelist who follows around a homicide detective of which he uses the experience as inspiration for his book.

The whole time using his cheesy mystery novel detective skills to solve the crimes.

Its great fun, and the dialogues are amazing. Recommend it.
