Long story short. Not exact details but thats why i linked the article :P

Grandma call cops says hasnt seen grandaughter in 5 weeks and is concerned. Cops show up, mom says kid has been missing for a month and she was conducting her own investigation scared police involvment would hurt her child. After being caught in a dozne lies, including grandma and grandpa. They arest mom on neglect and now with a 6 week+ cold trail they are trying to find out what happend.

I've been following this somewhat. I am just baffled why anyone would wait so long to contact the authorities unless they had good reason to wait for fear of the child's safety or mom is hiding something.

Trust me you can't get away from this story anywhere. it's truly bizarre!

The mother of this child has almost "0" concern it seems. She is very la-de-da about her daughter missing.
